Wednesday Nights at Pine Grove CC Sports Zone with Coach B.J. O'Hara.
Junior midfielder Joe Bucci earned the Hoyas' Most Improved Award for his outstanding play during the 2013 men's lacrosse season. After spending time with the Hoyas second midfield line as a freshman, Bucci moved to the first line and increased his scoring output during his sophomore season with 10 goals seven assists. Bucci's versatility gave the Hoyas' coaching staff a utility option, as he proved to be a difference-maker when playing on the wing on face-offs and on the defensive side of the field.
"Joe really improved from beginning to end last year and always works hard and does whatever the coaching staff has asked of him," Head Coach Kevin Warne said. "He was a utility guy for us last season, doing a little bit of everything. He gave us a boost on offense, played the wing on face-offs and played defensive middie."
