Central New York Road Hawks Lacrosse Club

We encourage all lacrosse players who love the game and who’s goal is to play at the next level to participate in tryouts during the fall. Please recognize we are not a recreational training program it’s important that you have had at least one to two years of organized lacrosse experience at your school or local level.

The purpose of open tryouts: 

The reason for two days of tryouts, are to properly evaluate the skill, talent, athleticism, and knowledge of each participant. This will fairly evaluate each player before making a team decision.

The Number of teams in each class will depend on the skill level and talent in that class.

The number of players per team is usually 22-24. There will not be more than two teams in any one class.

A year ago we began to move more towards Academy Training and the Student of the Game Series for our participants who have been selected to our travel teams because of the growth of the sport across the country and the need to work more intensively with our top players because the recruiting platform has become increasingly competitive.
