As the Lakers piled-up on each other in celebration, one should notice the gesture being made by #4 Sean Cannizzaro consoling the upset goaltender from Salmon River, who was visibly devastated after allowing the game winning goal to cross. As the rest of the Laker team celebrated, Sean demonstrated an ultimate gesture of sportsmanship and winning with class, by temporarily putting aside his personal moment to bask in the glory of a sudden victory win to let the opponent's goaltender know that he had played a great game and to keep his head up.

Road Hawk Teams Finish the summer strong at the NSCLA CUP in New Jersey this past weekend. With 30 of the top division one collegiate programs in attendance, and 90 college coaches in total over two days the Road Hawk displayed their upstate endurance late in the summer season.
The Class of 2014 came together with an awesome display of future Hawk talent showing they have what it takes to compete on a national stage. The class of 2013 played their hearts out with some of their team mates scattered between the 2012 and 2012/13 mixed division filling in for the committed and early committed players.
In the last year of the combo mixed division for the NSCLA tournament the 2012/13 class played its way to the championship game. Once again another group of top lacrosse players representing some of the finest high school programs in upstate earned the nick name the Dirty Dozen in the 2012 class division In an unbelievable championship come back to fight to the end the dirty dozen faced a Buzz Saw Long Island express team with a deep bench and a committed player lineup heading to the top 8 division one programs in the country.
Big congratulations to everyone who attended so late in the season and their commitment to the Road Hawks organization, as well as their representation of your perspective high schools and especially the display of upstate NY tough hearted lacrosse play.
4 Upstate NY Road Hawk players named NSCLA ALL Americans in two classes, two players in the 2012 and two players in the 2013 class.
